Question: Where can young people learn about moral and spiritual law?
You don’t have to be a Christian Scientist or have Christian Scientists as parents to spend time in a great place. You just need to be looking for a personal relationship with God and be under the age of 20.
First lessons establish the basics about the continuing value of such timeless truths as the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3-17), the Beatitudes (Matthew. 5:3-12), the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew. 6:9-13), the Golden Rule (Matthew. 7:12) “Love your neighbour as yourself”, and “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” from the Sermon on the Mount.
With this foundation in place, your teacher then helps you find answers to questions about life and the challenges facing you today – with family, friends, at school, work and play – by exploring the practical truths and ideas found in the weekly Bible lesson.
